Across the semester, you will be asked to produce six low-stakes short homeworks, which you will submit to Google Classroom. These short homeworks usually directly build into or out of the current assignment in some way. I won't generally give direct feedback on them, but we'll often talk about them in class discussions. Instructions for short homeworks will always be elaborated in the submission portal in Google Classroom.

Throughout the term, you'll also have the opportunity to complete optional assignments. You never need to complete these assignments, but they will be especially helpful for students seeking to improve their course grades beyond the default articulated in the grading contract.
